I have been using my Canon 30D DSLR for the past two years to get fantastic action shots of High School and Premier Sports around the area. There are many DSLR telephoto lenses to choose from, but after researching the options and the tradeoffs, I decided that in order to get fast action shots in low light conditions, I really needed the Canon EF70-200mm F2.8 IS USM.
